Christos Vasileiou

Christos is a scientific assistant at the EDAC laboratory and is leading the mechanical development of the breathe ventilator. He received his diploma in mechanical engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in 2019. During his diploma thesis he developed a passive biped robot using analysis, experiment, and a multibody simulation environment. Afterwards, he pursued his master's degree in Biomechanical design at TU Delft. During his studies, he joined the Department of Health Sciences and Technology of ETH Zurich in an exchange program, where he gained experiences on the medical device field through his research internship and his MSc thesis. Finally, before joining the EDAC lab, he extended his experience on the medical device field with a mechatronics internship in a MedTech startup.
